Haven’t bought my z8 yet but plan to. How do you enable B+W through the viewfinder but still shoot in color?
I think more information on lighting is warranted. For faces, you want soft light – cloudy day or in the shade. For most other scenes, contrasts caused by bright sunshine – shadows – really exploit b&w. Indeed, what is lacking is a rationale for shooting in B&W. Why eliminate color? And part of the answer is that it emphasizes the contrasts between dark and light. Many of your shots were doing that, yet you say nothing about these issues.
